Story
The story
Sophia was once a rising pianist, until the day she traded her hands to save her husband Jack and their young son Tommy from a truck. Now her twisted fingers draw only stares, and her family's love has curdled into disgust. On Tommy's birthday, carrying his cake home in her mouth, she overhears them: Tommy begs for a new mother, and Jack agrees, naming Olivia and promising a divorce after the party.
A system voice offers her rewards; she asks only for her hands. When Tommy flips the cake and Jack coldly hands her divorce papers, Sophia signs with her ruined fingers and refuses custody, walking away from the two men she saved.
She has decided that only she has the right to end what she sacrificed everything for.
