Story
The story
Three days before her wedding to Ethan, Hazel stays with her best friend Chloe, who sobs that she has fallen for someone she shouldn't have. When Ethan arrives to pick them up, he carries Chloe to the front seat first, shields her when he brakes, and uses his fingerprint to open her apartment door. From the hallway, Hazel watches Chloe kiss him.
Ethan insists it was nothing, reminding her of their eight years together, the booked venue, and the wedding video she edited until midnight. Then a whimper from inside pulls him back to Chloe, and he asks Hazel to wait downstairs. Instead, she opens the wedding planning group and sends one message: the wedding is canceled.
At her flower studio, Hazel arranges the bouquet meant for her own wedding and hands it over when Ethan and Chloe come to collect it. After they leave, she opens an admission letter from a floral design school in Paris.
