Reborn Father: I Won't Fight Her for Our Daughter

In his first life, Caspian Poole let the court send his infant daughter Talia home with his ex-wife, Serena Langston, while he raised their son Lucas. Years later Talia entered a top university, and Lucas dropped out, eloped and drifted into ruin. At Talia's celebration, Serena stabbed Caspian and leapt to her death.

Now Caspian wakes in the courtroom on the day of the custody hearing. Serena, reborn as well, demands Talia and mocks Lucas as a brat carrying inferior genes. Caspian grants her Talia, but bars her from seeing their son outside mandated visits. Serena laughs, vows never to look at Lucas again, and promises Talia will become exceptional while father and son make the news.

Caspian takes the weeping six-year-old's hand. He knows what Talia was like before he corrected her, and he wonders what Serena will make of her. Then a friend sends a screenshot: Serena has remarried Julian Blackwell, and beside him stands a boy about Lucas' age.
