What is this page?

This is the privacy policy for EditWrx Reads. It explains what happens to your information when you visit. It is written to be read at night, without jargon.

Do I need an account?

No. EditWrx Reads has no accounts and no sign-up. You can read without telling us who you are.

What stays in my browser?

Your reading settings — text size, line spacing, and theme — are stored only in your own browser. The same is true for the list of books you have opened, which you may see as your shelf or reading progress.

This information never leaves your device. It is not sent to our server. If you clear your browser data, it is removed.

What does the server keep?

We keep standard server logs. These include your IP address, browser and user agent, the pages you request, the referring page, and the time of your visit. We use them for security and to keep the site running. We retain them for a limited period.

• Standard server logs for security and operation, kept for a limited period.
• Aggregated, non-identifying visit statistics.
• Aggregate click records when you go to the official app — country and device type only — so we can learn which books are useful.

What about the official app?

When you click through to the official app, we record that click in aggregate form. Once you leave EditWrx Reads, the official app's own privacy policy applies. We do not control it.

What happens when I copy a reader code?

Copying a reader code happens locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to us.

Do you profile me or sell my data?

No. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell personal data.

Is this site for children?

EditWrx Reads is not directed at children under 13, or the local age of digital consent where you live. If you are below that age, please do not use the site.

What are my rights?

You can ask for access to, or deletion of, any data linked to you. Write to us and we will help.
