Wedding Day Betrayal, I Dumped Her on the Spot

For three years, Ethan Miller believed his fiancée Claire loved him. He stayed in New York for her, cooking, cleaning, and paying for everything, even after his family urged him to return home. Claire assured him that her close friend Ryan Brooks was gay, and Ethan trusted her completely.

On their wedding day, Ethan walks into the hotel storage room and finds Claire and Ryan together. They mock him in French, calling him a block of wood and a lapdog, certain he cannot understand. In the groom's lounge, Ryan taunts him openly while Claire's friends laugh along. Claire herself promises Ryan she will keep seeing him after the wedding and even plans to take Ethan's condo.

Ethan understands every word. He tells the wedding planner to simplify the ceremony and decides to let Claire go gracefully, but when a falling poster draws blood and Claire's call reveals she has chosen Ryan once more, his last hope dies. He waits, jaw clenched, ready to make them pay.
