The Scandal at The Golden Globes

At the Golden Globes, Jane Jensen finally wins Best Actress after six years of nominations that never turned into trophies. Her career stalled the night she publicly ended things with Julian Sterling, the man whose family owns half of Hollywood, and who never forgave her for learning of the breakup from a trending topic. Now he is about to marry her rival, Chloe Vance, and Jane has learned to keep her head down.

Then an anti-fan leaks a video of Jane pregnant, filmed six years ago, and the auditorium erupts. Reporters surround her demanding to know who the father is. Across the room, Julian, who never attends such events, loses his composure in public for the first time. Jane smiles and denies she has a child, but the question of what she is hiding hangs over the night.
