Rejecting My CEO Ex Wife

When Genevieve Abbott is parachuted in as the new CEO of the hospital where Dr. Logan works, he must face the ex-wife who spent five years mistaking his love for weakness. Now the Associate Director of Medicine, he keeps a brittle professional truce with her until quitting time, when she orders him to stay and finalize the restructuring plan instead of attending the City Medical Association gala, warning him that the consequences of defying her will be his alone.

Their five-year marriage ended on their anniversary, when Genevieve celebrated on the hospital rooftop with Rhys Callahan, the man who was supposed to be Logan's best friend, and the whole hospital dubbed them the Golden Pair. Logan asked for a divorce, packed his things, and moved into an apartment his parents had left him, sleeping more soundly than he had in years.

Now Genevieve summons him to dinner with Dr. Spencer, where Rhys is already seated, and Logan catches Rhys's cologne clinging to her. He no longer rushes to shield her from admiring glances; he feels only a flat emptiness, and he will not play their game again.
