Story
The story
On her first day inside the book she has transmigrated into, a girl recognizes the six-year-old boy before her as the future villain destined to destroy her family. Cole is the son of Big Gus, the fishmonger her hopelessly romantic mother Sarah has just married, and in the novel he grows into a paranoid, cold-blooded maniac who ruins his own life and ends hers and her mother's in gruesome fashion.
To survive, she decides the brat needs discipline, not coddling. A light thrashing every three days and a heavy beating every five soon teach Cole to bow his head, and before long he trails after her like a tiny shadow, calling her Her Majesty. But outside the house he remains the neighborhood's fearless little monster, and when the story's original female lead catches his eye, she must remind him who his true master is.
With a gossipy neighbor whispering poison in the boy's ear, keeping her future villain in line is far from over.

I also knew that my hopelessly romantic mother and I were doomed to be nothing more than collateral damage on his dark descent into evil.
To stay alive, I intended to keep my head down and lay low. But the brat practically begged for a beatdown.
So I adopted a simple rule: a light thrashing every three days, a heavy beating every five. I hammered at him until he finally learned to bow his head.
