Story

The story

I used to be the broke girl with too much pride, wanting nothing but Roman Sterling's love.

But after he blacklisted me from the industry to teach me a lesson, I learned to be obedient.

I accepted the resources and connections he threw my way.

The only difference was, I didn't love him anymore.

Later, he got into a car accident and was hospitalized. I was abroad for Fashion Week and went straight to a film set upon returning.

When he finally recovered and was discharged, he cornered me against a doorframe, his eyes rimmed with red.

"I was in a car accident..."

I looked at him with feigned confusion, saying nothing.

He gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with undisguised grievance. "You didn't come to see me... not even once."

[I only have 5 days left to live. How should I say goodbye to my owner so she won't be sad?] [Should I pretend to run away and die secretly somewhere else?]
