Story

The story

On the seventh anniversary of their relationship, Nina and Jack announce her pregnancy, and Jack plans a spectacular proposal with fireworks and a drone show. But as Nina holds out her hand for the ring, a shimmering figure appears—Jack from ten years in the future—warning him not to marry Nina and pointing to a quiet girl named Chloe as his true love. The 24-year-old Jack insists he loves only Nina, yet he falters, telling her the proposal is too soon and he needs to think.

Unknown to Jack, Nina can also see his older self, who follows them home, criticising their apartment and urging changes for Chloe. When Jack moves to the guest room and stops coming home, a stranger sends Nina videos of him growing closer to Chloe. At their favourite restaurant, Jack admits he gave Chloe the job he had promised Nina.

Nina, who has loved Jack since high school, must face the cold certainty of his future self and the growing distance of the man before her.
