Story

The story

Sandy Miller is dragged into another world by a System that demands she redeem her depressed husband, Gavin Miller, a wealthy, brooding artist, if she ever wants to return to her own life. She refuses to play the doting martyr, answering his suicide attempts with cold indifference and outrageous demands instead.

When Gavin tries to end things, Sandy throws open the window and wails about a broken Louboutin heel, shoving her frozen feet into his back at 3:00 AM and threatening divorce so she can escape. Gavin, stunned, clings to the marriage rather than let her go.

Fed up with his sulking, Sandy drags him from his studio, clips his hair back with a pink cartoon clip, and marches him to a barber. On the quiet walk home, she claims two strays as her own, and Gavin, flustered, insists they are community property. She is not there to heal him; she is there to win.
