Fake Love, Real Heartbreak

Hannah believed she and her childhood best friend Frank were a couple. They ate together, went on dates, held hands under the table at family dinners, and said "I love you" without a second thought. Then Frank's parents arranged a blind date for him, and Frank made clear that their six months together was never a relationship to him — only a convenient arrangement between bed buddies. He even asks her to help him dress and do his hair for the meeting.

The blind date is Angela, the art department senior Frank once had a crush on before she moved abroad. While Frank's family fills the house with roses and prepares to welcome her, Hannah's mother gently reminds her that Frank planned the whole thing and wants Hannah there to put the guest at ease. Frank then demands the betrothal bracelet his mother gave Hannah, afraid Angela might see it and be upset.

Hannah agrees to return it and walks out, but when she comes back with the bracelet, a chorus of cheers greets the guest inside — and Frank freezes at the sight of her.
