My Childhood Sweetheart Killed My Cat for His "Girl Best Friend"

Maya and Liam have been together since childhood, their bond surviving a long-distance college relationship. When Liam returns home for winter break, he brings along Emily, a loud sophomore from the photography club who immediately unsettles Maya with her overly familiar manner.

As the visit unfolds, small moments pile up: Emily drinking from Liam's bottle, her camera tucked in his suitcase, and a late-night social media post that suggests Liam never went home. Maya's unease grows, though Liam insists Emily is just a friend.

At home, Mochi, the cat they found together in middle school, waits. The tension between the three of them sharpens, and Maya must decide how much she is willing to overlook.
