The Mute and the Wild

When a university student finally meets her online boyfriend at a local indie coffee shop, she discovers he is mute. The boy, Wyatt, trembles in his vintage denim jacket and pushes a blue Post-it note across the table, apologizing for disappointing her. But she sees floating text above his head revealing that he is the identical twin brother of Weston Prescott, a star athlete, and that her roommate Penelope and Weston orchestrated the meeting as a cruel prank.

Instead of being humiliated, she finds Wyatt endearing and kisses him, leaving him flustered. She replaces Weston's contact with her real number and sends Weston a selfie with Wyatt, turning the prank back on him. Weston demands another meeting, and the floating comments speculate about his motives. She remains delighted by her unexpected connection with Wyatt, who clings to the paper heart she folded.
