Story

The story

When a woman discovers her sworn enemy, Logan Thorne, has signed her up on an exclusive dating site to dodge their arranged marriage, she nearly hangs up on the match. But a stream of pop-up comments reveals her blind date is Julian Knight: a devoted, wealthy, handsome man destined to become another woman's exclusive lapdog. She decides to meet him anyway, and the moment she sees him, she proposes marriage on the spot.

As they walk and talk, the comments keep warning that Julian is fated to fall for the kind, beautiful Anna McCarthy, and that he will meet her soon. When a thief snatches an old lady's bag, Anna gives chase, and Julian steps in to stop the man. The woman's own reckless kick misses, leaving her sprawled on the ground.

Now she must decide whether she can rewrite a fate the comments insist is already written, or whether she is only borrowing time before Julian's heart belongs to someone else.
