Story
The story
Arthur Reid is enjoying Christmas Eve dinner with his parents when his wife's assistant, Brendan Cole, calls to unleash a torrent of abuse. Brendan believes Arthur sent his parents to disturb Sophia Clarke at work, and boasts that he has the old couple beaten and under his boot.
Arthur realises the victims are actually Sophia's own parents, who travelled from their hometown to surprise their daughter with homemade pot pies. He calls the police and races to the corporate tower, but Sophia refuses to believe him, blocks his number, and tells the police Brendan was only playing a prank.
At the tower, guards loyal to Brendan beat Arthur and drag him into the security room, where two bound, bloodied figures are thrown at his feet.

You act like you don’t understand basic English, sending your parents to cause trouble, almost ruining months of company effort! Can you bear the consequences of that?
