The Scumbag Wants To Marry Me? No Way!

Winnie has spent seven years with Bob, and their families have already set a wedding date. But when his mother Cathy sends midnight messages accusing her of being a gold-digger over a 15,000-dollar gift, Winnie wakes Bob for support. Instead, he sides with his mother, insisting she be more understanding and claiming he has been supporting her while she studies full-time for the UBE.

Winnie points out she paid half a year's rent from her savings and once supported him entirely. Bob then admits his family now wants to give her only two thousand dollars. When she agrees, on the condition that her family's gift matches his, he turns cold and sneers that no one else would want a woman who stays home all day.

Disappointed but clear-eyed, Winnie refuses to marry him and tells him to leave, determined to expose the man she once believed in.
