Story

The story

As a descendant of a Beta, Ophelia Wentworth was meant to bond with Alpha Desmond Calder—until the night before the ceremony, when her parents died in a car accident. Branded an Omega overnight, she is cast aside for her best friend, Elowen Blake. Alpha Tobias Hawthorne then offers her marriage, and she becomes his Luna, believing she has been saved.

But the truth is crueler: Tobias's proposal was never love, and her parents' deaths were tied to him. When she overhears that she is merely a shield for Elowen, Ophelia resolves to disappear. Before she leaves for the Crowley Pack, she attends the opening of the Blake Mall, where Tobias's empire and his secrets stand exposed.

Betrayed and watched by three Alphas, Ophelia must decide what she will become.

Opening excerpt

As a descendant of a Beta, I, Ophelia Wentworth, was set to bond with Alpha Desmond Calder. But on the night before our bonding, my parents died in a tragic car accident. I was immediately demoted to an Omega, and he replaced me with another she-wolf—my best friend, Elowen Blake.

Devastated, I was saved by Alpha Tobias Hawthorne, who made me his Luna.
