He Let His First Love Live My Life, So I Made My Death Final

Yvonne Carrigan runs a company that fulfils the last wishes of the dead. She built it because her husband, Adrian Prescott, once said his greatest regret was never fulfilling his own father's last wish. Seven years of running it have cost her everything, yet each time Adrian pulled her back from the brink.

Then, on the eve of their wedding anniversary, she finds her own name on the company's list of deceased clients, her shares, database and marital assets signed over to Adrian, with a death date seven days away. Adrian has done it for Cecily Sutton, a dying woman who wants to experience Yvonne's life, her house, her ring, her company. Because Cecily is dying, Adrian believes Yvonne should give way.

But Yvonne holds one right Adrian has forgotten: the right to confirm her own death, sealing every last-wish authorisation forever. She presses confirm.
