My Last Name Is My Own

Seven years after she vanished from the Sutton estate, Aurora is found by her brother Adrian — not by a private investigator, but through the organ donor registry. She lies in a palliative care ward, scheduled for surgery, and insists her name is Serena, not Aurora. Adrian demands she come home, apologize to Willow, and donate her liver to their half-sister, who once again needs a transplant.

Aurora refuses. Her organs are already pledged to strangers, and she says the sister Adrian once protected died seven years ago, when he threw her out over accusations she has always denied. He threatens to keep her alive by any means if she will not save Willow.

As the past returns — their parents' death, the liver she gave, the lies she says Willow told — Aurora holds to the one thing left to her: her own name.
