He Wrote His Intern's Name on Our Wedding Invitations

For thirteen years, Clara has built a life with Wesley, who once vowed to marry her, bought them a home, and practiced calligraphy for five years so he could handwrite their wedding invitations. Now, days before the wedding, he keeps writing another woman's name on the cards: Lauren, the new intern on his team. He buys Clara the wrong gifts, orders food she is allergic to, and drives her to Lauren's building instead of home.

When Clara finally pulls the pen from his hand and calls off the wedding, Wesley calls her unreasonable, reminding her that she begged for this marriage and that at thirty-five her value on the dating market is basically zero. Then Lauren designs digital invitations covered in pink hearts and marked with her own name, and Wesley defends her.

Clara tears the invitations apart and texts her mother that she is done waiting, agreeing to marry the man her mother once mentioned.
