The Fire That Saved Me

After five years of trying to conceive, Sarah endures a year of IVF injections that leave her exhausted and aged. When her husband Ethan's assistant Chloe mistakes her for the maid and orders her around, Ethan rushes home and takes Chloe's side, publicly posting a photo of Sarah on his Instagram Story with a caption declaring her no longer his wife and giving her three days to apologize to Chloe or face divorce.

Sarah refuses to beg. She calls the fertility clinic to terminate the IVF process, but learns that ending it requires both spouses' signatures. Ethan returns with chocolate and demands she apologize to Chloe, then Chloe arrives and mocks Sarah while Ethan dotes on her. Sarah contacts a lawyer about divorce proceedings.

The next morning Ethan drives Sarah to the clinic for what he believes is the final implantation appointment, unaware she intends to end the treatment. At the clinic, as Ethan reads the termination paperwork, a call from Chloe pulls him away, and he drags Sarah out before she can learn a test result the doctor says she needs to see.
