The Unusual Boyfriend

After a horrific car accident leaves Liam unconscious for a day and a night, the doctors say he has lost the last ten years of his memory. His wife, Nina, brings him home to their new house, but the man who returns is a stranger. He paces the rooms like an investigator, holds his old college suit against himself, and stares at the pale band of skin where his wedding ring used to be.

When he learns they have been married two years, Liam is horrified. He calls their life a toxic tie and a violation of law and morality, and vows he would rather die than be the other man. Yet the word honey makes him blush to his ears, and when the doorbell rings he hides among Nina's dresses, whispering to ask if the delivery man is gone.

Nina remembers a decade that turned rivalry into partnership and love. Liam remembers nothing of it, and believes he is the intruder in another man's marriage.
