Story

The story

A wife discovers her husband has secretly bought a voice recorder. When she asks about it, he snaps that it is for work and tells her to get a job. She does not argue; she quietly swaps the recorder's memory card for a micro-transmitter.

The next day he takes his mistress to his car, and every word reaches the neighborhood Zumba class through the outdoor speakers. The crowd hears his contempt for the dancers and his boast that he swapped her prenatal vitamins for long-term contraceptives to destroy her health and force her out. Then a hidden recording reveals his role in sub-standard steel for the Horizon City project, and the neighbors turn on him.

As police close in, she stands in the shadows, the sole unaware victim.
