My Germaphobe Wife Likes His Germs

Caius has been married to Willow for years, and he has always accepted her distance: a serious germaphobe, she rarely even allows him to kiss her, and once slapped away a cup he offered her in public. Yet when his oldest friend Jayden lounges in their living room and feeds Willow a half-eaten strawberry from his own hand, she swallows it without a word.

While Caius sweats over steaks for Jayden, a knife slips and cuts his finger to the tendon. Jayden complains about the blood on the meat; Willow tells Caius to wash it and calls his wound a small cut. When he finally asks whether the two of them are too comfortable together, Willow leaves with Jayden, and Caius is left alone with three plates of steak.

At the hospital, he tells his boss he will take the assignment in Northpass, and that he will soon be divorced.
