My Wife Was Pregnant for Her First Love

Ethan Whitaker flies to London to surprise his wife, Naomi Blake, on their fifth wedding anniversary. She has spent six months there on a professional exchange program. At her apartment, he finds her visibly pregnant, at least six months along. She admits she faked the infertility report she once showed him, and that the child belongs to Bryce Adler, her first love, a married man with late-stage cancer who wanted an heir.

Naomi insists it was artificial insemination, done out of pity, and refuses to end the pregnancy. Ethan finds a used ashtray and men's underwear, and Bryce arrives with maternity clothes. A fight breaks out; neighbors and security treat Bryce and Naomi as the married couple, and Naomi tells them she does not know Ethan. After questioning, Bryce offers to drop the charges if Ethan apologizes and lets the baby be born. Ethan refuses and is jailed, then released three days later to find Naomi waiting outside.
