Chasing His Abandoned Donna

After losing her unborn baby, Callista quietly sheds every habit Matteo Cassano once hated. She stops calling, stops waiting, and when a car crash fractures her leg at a hospital owned by the Cassano Family, she tells no one. Matteo arrives anyway, unsettled by her composure, and waits in vain for the jealousy she no longer shows. She has already filed for divorce and accepted a place in a top-secret medical research project in Zurich, where she will cut off all contact with the outside world.

Matteo assumes she is merely throwing a fit and will return as she always has. But as Seraphina clings to him and the divorce decree draws near, the woman who once wept if he was an hour late prepares to leave everything behind.
