Story
The story
For twenty years, Donna has built her entire adult life around Leo: ten years of dating, ten years of marriage. When she finally picks up his phone, she finds a contact saved as "Crybaby" and a selfie from a weeping woman. Leo does not deny it. He says he is having an affair, and that his mistress is simply better at crying than Donna is.
He reminds her that he once told her tears were useless, and she believed him. Through his failed startup, his mother's death, a miscarriage that nearly killed her, and his long nights away, she never cried. Now he mocks her age, her unemployment, her body, and her childlessness, telling her to pretend she saw nothing.
Donna packs the gifts he gave her, calls her best friend Beryl, and has a divorce petition drawn up. When she finds Leo carrying another woman to his car, she follows the Maybach to a villa outside town, where the truth of his "emergency" becomes impossible to ignore.

Twenty years together.
For the first time in my life, I picked up Leo’s phone.
A contact saved under the name "Crybaby" had sent a selfie. Her cheeks were flushed and broke out in hives from weeping.
"Leo, do I look pretty when I cry?"
A cold dread washed over me, freezing me from the inside out.
The next second, the bedroom door opened and Leo walked out. Seeing the phone in my hand, he calmly reached out. "Give it back."
My knuckles turned white. "Aren't you going to explain this?"
