The Man in My Bed

Susan Gibbs has been married to Henry Gibbs for five years, and their life together is simple and happy. Then a car accident takes away his ability to be intimate with her, and the couple travels from specialist to specialist, trying every men's health clinic they can find. Every doctor offers the same suggestion: stimulation therapy, using temptation and arousal to provoke a reaction from Henry.

Henry begins asking Susan to wear revealing dresses, first at home, then to work, and finally to a club with his friends and business partners. She agrees each time, hoping it will help him, even as his requests grow bolder and the attention of other men closes in around her. On a crowded bus, a broad-shouldered stranger shields her from the crowd, and her own body answers him.

Susan keeps telling herself that everything she does is for Henry's treatment. But the line between sacrifice and desire blurs with every dress she puts on.
