Story

The story

After her parents' divorce, Maya is left with her father while her sister Chloe goes with their mother. Her father drinks and beats her, and she works illegal shifts at the local market to survive. Then strange text floats across her vision like a livestream chat, revealing that the divorce was a lie and that she is the subject of a hidden reality show watched by paying viewers.

Following the chat, Maya finds Chloe in a princess dress leaving a villa arm-in-arm with both parents. The family is still together and wealthy, and she was chosen for the poverty experiment because she was the obedient one. Her father steals her wages, her exam results go unmentioned, and her parents dote on Chloe while leaving Maya in a slum.

When Maya earns a place at Capital University, her father takes her hidden tuition savings. Stepping into the scorching sun, she is blocked by Chloe in a designer dress and crystal necklace.
