Story

The story

Chloe has failed her mission. Transmigrated into a new world with a System that promised health if one of four assigned targets reached one-hundred percent affection, she has watched every bond reset to zero because of Hannah Snow. Now her last target, Lucas Lindt, has married Hannah aboard a cruise ship, and the System warns that in half a month she will be forcibly erased.

When Chloe leaps into the sea, she is dragged back by Casey Jones, her brother and first target, who slaps her and accuses her of ruining Hannah's wedding. Lucas, Finn White and the others turn on her with photographs and accusations, each convinced she is the villain who wronged Hannah. With nothing left and no one who believes her, Chloe must face the punishment closing in on her.

Opening excerpt

After failing to win over my first three targets of interest, I agreed to an engagement with the paralyzed heir of the Lindt family. I spent every last point I had to help him stand again, but the very first thing he did after recovering was cancel our engagement.

Then, he gave Hannah Snow a grand ocean wedding—one that captured everyone’s attention. At the ceremony, all four of my former targets of interest stood there, their eyes filled with nothing but warmth as they looked at Hannah. Suddenly, I just wanted to go home.
