Story

The story

By day, Noah Shen is Julian Gu's million-dollar executive assistant. By night, he warms Julian's bed as his canary — a secret crush he has carried for ten years. Then Julian announces their arrangement must end, and a photo falls from his pocket: Julian on a beach, smiling, arm around Liam Lin, the "White Moonlight" he has hidden in his heart for ten years. On the back, in Julian's hand: "Reunion. My Liam, my light."

Julian offers ten million to buy Noah's silence and tells him to stay away from Liam — if Liam is not around, Noah may still stay, and hide when he comes. Noah takes the check, dresses, and tells Julian the end is not his to decide: it is Noah who no longer wants him.

Noah returns to work as Chief Secretary, keeping his distance. When Liam spills hot tea and accuses Noah of hitting him, Julian turns on Noah with poisonous ice in his eyes.
