The story

Navi, a girl who gets rejected on the day of her wedding due to her being Mute.

It was not her fault. It was never her fault yet she was the one who got punished. Her life took a turn when she got married to the best friend of the person she was about marry. Never been out of the town, for the first time she moved to London and her life changes.

We sat in the car and I took out my phone from the purse. There were some messages from Jiya and Dad. I assured them that I am fine and we are heading to the airport to take the flight. " Anything serious? " I heard his voice and flinched. I shook my head and he nodded. I kept my phone back in the purse and started looking out of the window. I felt his gaze and turned my head towards him but he was looking at the other side.

My palms were sweaty because of the nervousness. I looked at him to ask some questions but he was busy on his phone. I knocked on the window but he didn't listen. I looked to my right then left but found nothing which could attract his attention. I looked at my lap and my gaze fell on the bangles I was wearing. I bit my lower lip and started making a sound. I glared at him when he didn't look at me.

What will make him distract his attention from that phone?

I spread my hands at the front of his eyes and jingled the bangles. He looked at me while giving me a confusing look.
