Story

The story

Logan Fraser, the only child of the Fraser family, has spent ten years quietly supporting his girlfriend, Lucia Joy, while keeping his true identity hidden. During a senior-year internship, he opens his family's gemstone mine to his classmates, only for Keith Coburn to claim the mine and the Fraser name as his own. When Logan exposes the lie, Keith shoves him off a cliff, and Lucia, far from helping, turns on him and takes Keith's side.

Waking back at the moment of the fall, Logan refuses to beg. He texts his fiercely protective father two words—help me—and resolves to hold on until he arrives. But Keith smashes his phone, and Lucia demands he apologize, striking him when he will not. Even when Logan declares he is the Fraser heir and has funded Lucia for years, she laughs, judging him by his plain clothes and lack of jewelry.

Left beneath the cliff as Keith and Lucia walk away, Logan must survive on his own goodwill and whatever time he has left before his father reaches him.
