Punk Prince of the Sterling Empire

After his adoptive family goes bankrupt, Charlie is sent back to his biological parents, the wealthy Sterling family. He arrives at their mansion in ripped jeans and bleached hair, and when his sister Sarah opens the door holding prayer beads, she mistakes him for a thug collecting protection money. He greets her with a whistle and a demand for cash.

Sarah refuses to buy him off. She tells him he was deliberately taken and abandoned by a nanny sent by a rival, that his father was injured searching for him, and that his mother nearly broke down. The butler leads him to a room his mother has redecorated every year, filled with birthday gifts saved in his absence.

Charlie braces for a fake son plotting against him, but finds only his little brother Zack. His adoptive siblings text him, joking that if he cannot survive there, he can come home to pickles.
