Unexpected Flare

All her life Alisha has been waiting for one thing to happen — to finally recover from her dark past. She wanted to live without anxiety and self-doubt. She wanted to finally reach that light at the end of the dark tunnel where she had settled for too long. However, the more that she stepped forward, the more she could not reach it at all. At the time that she was being blinded by too much darkness. At the moment that she thought that the torch that guided her suddenly faded, a luminescence from Zeke Lozada — the man she thought she would never meet again, suddenly appeared.

Would she let his brilliance lead her forward even if the shadow she was running away from, was still pulling her back? Would she endure upon knowing that his appearance was anticipated? Or despite uncertainty, would she stay and enjoy the warmth of their hearts because of its sudden flare?

Alisha Ortiz knew whatever her decisions would be, she could either be blinded or enlightened by this unexpected flare. Which is which, she's unsure of.
