Me or this kid, who's it gonna be?

Married to Julian for five years, Nora never imagined it would end like this. At the hospital entrance, Julian tenderly helps a young, heavily pregnant girl named Selena down the steps. When Nora asks who she is, Julian admits the baby is his. That night, he had been drunk; Selena, a stranger he met once, became pregnant and, due to a unique medical condition, could not terminate the pregnancy.

Julian begs Nora not to leave him, but she cannot forgive him. He stays away for a week, then gets drunk and is taken home by Selena. Nora follows them to an apartment and waits all night; at dawn, Julian returns carrying breakfast and lies that he stayed at the office. Nora arranges to meet Selena, who, with Julian outside the door, drops her gentle manner and asks Nora to let them be.

Selena then pushes open a closed bedroom door, revealing a cozy nursery inside.
