Tears for Content

On her wedding day, Sarah waits in her white dress while the guests fill the hall and her fiancé Ethan is nowhere to be found. When she finally reaches him, he treats the missing groom as a joke, then bursts through the doors with a ring light strapped to his chest, filming her tears for his prank channel. A photo of Ethan with her younger sister, Zoe, follows, and the two of them laugh at her despair, calling it the groom's second surprise.

Sarah's mother steps in, but her comfort is only another performance: the whole day has been staged, the guests coached, the ceremony scripted for the camera. Zoe then presses Sarah's palm to her stomach and claims she is pregnant, while her mother urges her to accept it because they will all still be family.

Standing alone under the stage lights, Sarah takes the microphone and cancels her own wedding, remembering the boy who once led her off a stage and wondering where he went.
