Story
The story
Leo's fiancée bankrupts his father's company to force him to break their engagement, and the shock puts his father in intensive care. When Leo begs for surgery money, his childhood friend Sara returns from overseas, brings in the best doctors, and keeps a vigil at his father's bedside. After a second, fatal heart attack, Sara swears an oath at his deathbed to marry Leo and cherish him forever. Leo breaks off the engagement and marries Sara.
Five years later, Leo overhears Sara and his ex-fiancée in a VIP lounge. Sara was the one who destroyed his father's company; his ex-fiancée took the fall for her because of Johnny. Sara's drunken whispers, her phone unlocked by Johnny's birthday, albums of Johnny from age ten to twenty-five, a diary, a will leaving everything to Johnny Croft, and the withered peach trees his father planted—all reveal that Sara's love and their marriage were penance for Johnny's sake.
Now Leo knows the woman he cherished destroyed his father and every trace of him, and he must decide what to do with the truth.
