Her Betrayal Broke More Than Bones

On the day of the World Racing Championship, Craig Dorsey's car spins off a cliff. Trapped and broken, he calls his wife, Giselle Stewart, for help, but she ignores him, leaving him to plummet. She walks away to celebrate Dennis Turner, who takes the title. Craig shatters his spine and is left paralyzed from the waist down, reduced to a wheelchair and a cramped auto-repair workshop.

Six years later, Giselle finds him as debt collectors beat him. She claims she searched for him, yet Dennis stays close, their couple rings catching the light. She calls his ruin a tantrum over a championship and offers to clear his debts if he accepts Dennis. Craig refuses, remembering the race he was asked to throw and the mechanical failure that followed.

Giselle still does not understand what she took from him, and the love he once held is gone.
