I Killed My Brother on His Wedding Day

After her parents die in an accident, Bianca is taken in by the Collins family, who raise her alongside her brother David and treat her like a second daughter. On the day David marries their daughter Anne, Bianca kills the family and leaves her brother wishing for death, then waits as the bloodstains spread and the police arrive.

When the officers find her calmly pulling down the last wedding decorations, they demand to know why she destroyed the people who loved her for eight years. Bianca offers no answer beyond a bitter smile, recalling the morning's warmth: Sarah cooking, Tom tending his plants, David teasing her and pressing a new phone into her hands. Their kindness, she says, is something that cannot be forgiven.
