Tell My Ex To Cut Deeper

Miranda leaves a clinic with her prescription and calls her husband Willie for a ride home, but he refuses, saying it is out of his way. She takes a rental bike through the downpour to cook dinner for Delia, his paralyzed younger sister. A speeding SUV forces her off the road, and from its window she hears Willie soothing Amber, his first love, who sneers at her and flicks two hundred-dollar bills into the mud before the car drives off, drenching her.

Walking home for two hours, Miranda recalls marrying Willie against her parents' wishes, funding his business through a shell company, and caring for Delia since the crash on their wedding day. At home, Willie only tells her to clean up and start dinner, while Delia, seeing her bloodied knees, asks whether her brother is seeing someone else.

Miranda had wanted to burn their life down and expose them both.
