Story

The story

After Elliot betrayed her, the marriage dragged on another six years, and they had a son, Liam. Just when everyone believed they were settled, she filed for divorce, revealing she had doubled their net worth to 6 billion dollars and leaving him to choose between shared shares and a cash-out.

Elliot had built a double life around Audrey, his college goddess, newly divorced and back in New York with her daughter Mia, while Liam saw his father barely once a week. When she confronted him, she recounted Liam's illnesses, injuries and bullying at St. Jude's, and how the boy was disbelieved when he said Elliot Vance was his father.

Leaving Liam behind, she moved out and prepared the documents, meeting Tori, Elliot's own divorce attorney and her secret best friend since college. Six years earlier she had stayed through the scandal and the stock plunge; now she intends to collect.
