Not Your Typical Romance

At a high school reunion, Andy slips a few pills into a glass of expensive wine meant for Julian Trammell, the flawless class legend Andy has resented since Julian transferred into the advanced placement track and eclipsed him in everything. Julian catches him in the act, drinks the spiked wine himself, and locks them both inside the back lounge, turning Andy's prank back on him with a slow, deliberate menace.

What follows is a night Andy cannot outrun. Julian knows about the promise they once made to attend the same university, and he has not forgiven Andy for choosing Lanton University instead of Kingston. Andy has always secretly feared Julian, remembering the cold violence he once witnessed and the bloody smile Julian gave him afterward. When Julian turns up in Andy's own living room weeks later, the marks of that night still fading, Andy realizes the game between them is far from over.
