Story
The story
Six years ago, struggling actress Jamie Walker walked away from Zach Rivers and moved halfway across the world, taking money from the producer Mr. Davenport to leave him alone. Now Zach has become a corporate shark, engaged to the A-list actress Brittany Wells, while Jamie's eyesight is failing from Retinitis Pigmentosa and she has returned to the States to earn what she can before she goes blind.
When her old friend Tiffany Blake brings her to a press conference, Zach spots Jamie and has his bodyguards seize her. In a private room he threatens and humiliates her, until Tiffany forces him to let them go. Jamie insists the stories Davenport spread were lies, and that she never took his money.
Yet Zach's cruelty and Brittany's schemes follow her onto a new film set, and Jamie cannot tell whether he wants revenge or something else entirely.

"Don't tell me you blew through that money Mr. Davenport gave you?
