The story

Dirk Fox has paid for the riverfront marital home, from the down payment to the mortgage and the renovation he chased through the building-supply market for half a year. Yet when his wife Moira Gilbert's former love Ronald moves in after leaving the hospital, Dirk is shut out of the master bedroom, told to make do on the couch, and warned not to touch Ronald's medicine or disturb his sleep.
