Betrayed by My Bestie, I Snagged the Campus Hottie

Amber has loved Liam Anderson since childhood, following him for ten years while hiding her feelings. When Liam turns twenty-four, he jokes about dating her, then laughs it off, saying she isn't his type. Amber decides to confess at his birthday party, but Liam arrives holding hands with Rachel, her roommate and best friend, and the two kiss before everyone. Rachel humiliates Amber publicly, and Liam calls them just friends.

Amber declares she will never like Liam again and ends her friendship with Rachel. Liam demands she apologize to Rachel, but she refuses and walks away in tears. A handsome stranger in a black hoodie follows her down the street, and when she threatens him with a brick, he tells her to wipe her tears and see who he is.

What begins as heartbreak may become something new, as the campus hottie steps out of the shadows.
