Your Sixty Minutes Are Up

Diana has spent years accepting that her boyfriend Jimmy lives by a rigid, minute-by-minute schedule, and that he will never break it for anyone. When a stomach ulcer flares in the car, he refuses to detour to a hospital. When she is stranded in freezing rain on a mountain road at eleven at night, he hangs up to keep his wind-down block intact. Then a photo shows his assistant Amber riding in his passenger seat, rescued without a second thought.

After hiking down the mountain, Diana wakes in a hospital room to Jimmy checking his watch, blaming her for the weather and for the audit he had ordered her to finish on that mountain. She hands over the data and ends both the relationship and the job. At the precinct, where Amber is caught inside their ransacked townhouse, Jimmy shields her and demands an apology.

Diana remembers another afternoon at exactly 2:15, when Jimmy refused to leave his scheduled nap while a stranger dragged her from her car. Now she must decide what to do with a man who breaks every rule for someone else.
