The story
When Ethan Wright cuts Maya Caldwell's parachute strap mid-air to save Stella Montgomery, the fall shatters Maya's ankle and ends her figure skating career before the World Championships. I never expected our parachutes to get tangled in mid-air.
Without a second of hesitation, Ethan cut my parachute strap. It caused me to descend entirely too fast, and the brutal impact of the landing shattered my heel ligaments, forcing me to say goodbye to my figure skating career forever.
I asked Ethan why he didn’t save me.
