Divorce By Diagnosis Arctic Aurora

Willow has endured years of her husband Owen's affairs, each one smoothed over with a wire transfer instead of an apology. When his assistant Reese sends yet another intimate video, Willow forwards it back and quietly accepts the money—enough, at last, to book an extreme travel package to the Arctic Circle. What Owen does not know is that a cancer diagnosis has left her with only weeks to live, and the framed report sits unread on the hall table as he walks past it.

Too absorbed in his phone and his mistress to notice her failing body, Owen assumes she is simply clearing her head. Willow packs a one-person expedition kit, consults a lawyer, and files for divorce. A chance meeting with Delilah, a young fellow traveller from her Arctic group, stirs an envy for the open future she will never have.

With her wedding ring in a public bin and her last days ahead, Willow's only remaining task is to please herself.
